Exavier Bhurgari, ACSW
I'm an Associate Clinical Social Worker dedicated to helping survivors of adverse events heal and restore wellness to their everyday lives through support and guidance. I believe therapy is a synergetic experience that enhances human well-being and empowers individuals to accomplish their goals.
I received my Bachelor’s in Sociology from the California State University of Long Beach. I attended Simmons University to complete my Master’s in Social work. During my MSW program, I completed an internship at Peace Over Violence, where I worked with survivors of intimate partner violence and sexual assault, providing the cycle of violence awareness, psychoeducation, and mindfulness while utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and solution-focused models. I have also worked as a therapist intern for the Los Angeles Downtown Women’s Center, where I provided mental health support and life skills development for women experiencing homelessness who have co-occurring mental health and substance use diagnoses while using CBT models, Strength-Based and Solution-focused approaches.
I look forward to collaborating with and supporting you to meet your mental health and life goals.
